Our Services

We are proud to offer a wide variety of counseling, coaching, and therapy services to our clients.  We serve children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Here are some brief descriptions of some of our more popular options.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a therapy technique that helps individuals to heal from post-traumatic stress disorder and alleviate the symptoms and physical effects resulting from distressing life experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on behavior and emotions.

Cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on changing the automatic negative thoughts that can contribute to and worsen emotional difficulties, depression, and anxiety. These spontaneous negative thoughts have a detrimental influence on mood.  Through CBT, these thoughts are identified, challenged, and replaced with more objective, realistic thoughts.

Dialectical behavior therapy is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy. Its main goals are to teach people how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others. It can help people who have difficulty with emotional regulation or are exhibiting self-destructive behaviors

Group Therapy

Typically, groups meet for an hour each week. Some people attend individual therapy in addition to groups, while others participate in groups only.

Groups can act as a support network and a sounding board. Other members of the group often help you come up with specific ideas for improving a difficult situation or life challenge, and hold you accountable along the way.

Life Coaching

Do you want to be the best version of yourself?  We will discover what limited beliefs are holding you back and work together to create an individualized plan that works for you.

We have a life coach and Reiki practitioner on our team who focuses on releasing self-sabotaging behaviors and trapped emotions which may manifest as physical pain in the body.

Walk Therapy

During the Covid pandemic, we began walk therapy as an option for clients who were uncomfortable coming into our physical office.  We continue to offer walk therapy as it is beneficial to both physical and mental health.

Pet Therapy

Little Bob, Therapy Dog

Pets can be very healing and provide calm and comfort for children or adults during times of challenge or stress.  Sometimes a client will request to have our therapy dog present during their session, which we enthusiastically support.  We also utilize our therapy dog for children who have pet phobias which they want to overcome.
